Old habits.
Drake Contracting is a young Plymouth firm run by people who spent years on commercial sites, where being a day late cost somebody a fortune. The habits stuck. Dates in a calendar. Prices written down. Materials on site before the crew is.
We came back to houses because we liked handing keys back to people who actually live in them. So you get one firm, accountable from the first look round to the last snag, and a site that gets hoovered before we go home.
If something goes wrong, a joist that isn't where the drawing said, a supplier who's let us down, two days of Devon rain, you'll hear it from us before you have to ask.

We come out, have a proper look, and tell you honestly whether we're the right firm for it. Sometimes we aren't.
The price
Itemised, in writing, with a start date on it. If something could move the number later, we say so now.
The build
Same crew every morning. Dust sheets down, hoover out, site left tidy at knock-off. Week two is grim. That's normal.
Keys back
Snags sorted before we call it finished, and we still answer the phone in six months.
