Builders who turn up. Apparently that's still a selling point.

Drake Contracting is a young firm, but not a green one. We spent years on commercial sites where a missed deadline cost someone real money, which is why we're almost boringly organised about dates, prices and materials.
We came back to domestic work because we liked handing keys back to people who actually live there. Kitchens, bathrooms, extensions and renovations across Plymouth, Plymstock, Plympton, Saltash, Ivybridge, Tavistock, Exeter, Torquay, Totnes, Kingsbridge, Truro and the wider South West, run by the same small crew you'll meet on day one.
We won't badmouth another firm by name. We will happily tell you the three lines to look for in somebody else's quote before you sign it.
And when something goes wrong, and on a building site something eventually does, you'll get a phone call before you have to make one. That's most of the personality, really.
The price, the wall that has to come down, the two days we lost to rain. You get it from us before you have to chase it.
Every builder says they'll start Monday. We'll tell you which Monday, in writing, and we plan the job around keeping it.
Everything is itemised so you can see what you're paying for. Anything you want taking out, say so. We won't be offended.
Dust sheets, sealed-off rooms and the hoover out before we leave. You're living here. We're only visiting.
