Kitchens and bathrooms in Plymouth

Most of what makes a kitchen or bathroom last is buried by the second week. That's the part we're fussy about.

We fit kitchens and bathrooms from any supplier, or plan the layout with you from scratch. Behind the units: correct waste falls, properly tanked wet areas, solid substrates, protected pipework and certified electrics. Nobody ever compliments the tanking. They do notice when it wasn't done.

The finish is what you actually live with, so we take our time on tiling, grout lines, silicone, worktop joints and trims. Things get sanded twice here more often than they need to, because somebody always decides the first go wasn't right.

Your alcove is probably 40mm out of square. Nothing off a shelf was ever going to fit it, which is why the scribes and the fillers get made on site rather than bodged with a bead of white.

The kitchens and bathrooms jobs we take on

Ask about anything not listed

Full kitchen refit

Strip out, walls and floor sorted, units, worktops, appliances, tiling and decoration. One crew, one price.

Kitchen supplied or customer supplied

Buy your own from wherever you like and we will fit it, or we will source and price the lot.

Bathroom refits

Family bathrooms taken back to the joists, pipework rerun where it should have gone the first time.

En-suites and cloakrooms

Tight spaces where waste runs and ventilation decide what is actually possible. We check that before you order.

Wet rooms and level access

Formers, proper falls, full tanking and slip-rated floors. Also useful if you are planning to stay put as you get older.

Tiling and underfloor heating

Large format porcelain, decoupling where the floor needs it, and electric or wet UFH set up and commissioned.

The honest bit

Where kitchen and bathroom jobs go wrong

Tanking, waste falls and substrate. Three things you will never see again once the tiles are on, and all three are the reason a shower leaks into the ceiling below two winters later. A flexible board on a bouncy floor cracks grout. A shallow waste fall leaves water standing. Silicone over a moving joint splits.

Ventilation is the quiet one. An extractor that is undersized or ducted into a loft rather than outside puts every litre of that steam back into the building. We size it, duct it out and test it, and we would rather have the argument about the fan now than the mould later.
